James (jim) Flaherty

Jim is a highly accomplished Executive with over 30 years of business and technical leadership in the industrial gas industry. Prior to joining Adsorptech, he has worked for Linde/BOC and Fluor in a variety of roles developing solid core competencies in Business and Financial Planning, Business and Technology Development, Sales, Alliances, Marketing, Product Development, Operations and Distribution. Jim’s success is significantly attributable to a keen business sense, strong customer focus/alignment, strategic thinking and flawless execution. Jim’s career highlights include developing high-performance organizations, creating world-class adsorption products, integrating applications and formulating win-win business solutions to a variety of industrial clients – metals, glass, water, wastewater, pulp/paper, environmental, energy, food, chemicals, petrochemicals, and electronics.
John Robert Ambriano
Vice President

John has been a highly motivated and tireless development engineer for past 25 years. He has worked for Corning Glass, Air Products, and BOC Gases prior to starting up Adsorptech. He has accumulated vast experience in value added engineering design for oxygen plants. John has built a personal reputation for being quite an expert in troubleshooting and commissioning. Most important career highlights for John are development of three generation of adsorption based oxygen plants for BOC Gases, Innovative engineering solutions leading to development of Adsorptech’s oxygen technology and Development of low cost oxygen compression system. During his career, he has commissioned over 50 plants of different designs and seen it all. John has 5 US patents on adsorption technology.
Apurva Maheshwary
Vice President
(MS Chemical Engineering, NJIT, Newark, NJ)
Apurva has been a process design engineer for last 20 years. He has designed process plants for Industrial gases, refining and petrochemical industries accumulating extensive experience on plant design, safety, control and other engineering standards. Apurva worked at Engineers India Limited, Lummus Crest, and BOC Gases prior to Adsorptech. He has developed the unique proprietary calculation methods to design the adsorption based gas separation plants, which has allowed Adsorptech to scale the test plant data to the commercial designs. Apurva is driven to a calculation intensive approach to engineering problems but never to reinvent a wheel.
The most important career highlights for Apurva have been development of calculation methods for plant design, design of many major units in refining and petrochemical industry and design of over 35 adsorption based separation plants. Apurva has 4 US patents on adsorption technology.
Ravi Subramanian
Vice President
(MS Chemical Engineering, West Virginia Tech, Montgomery, WV)
Ravi has over 21 years of extensive experience in design, engineering, control system programming and commissioning of variety of chemical plants. He has worked as an independent control system engineer prior to joining Adsorptech as a partner. Ravi has extensive experience in the all the control system platform and is highly sought after in the controls industry. He has demonstrated unassuming broad approach to any design problem. His constant drive to learn new systems has been invaluable asset to Adsorptech. He also has great disciplined approach towards financial matters and is credited with our survival in tough economic environment.
The most important career highlights for Ravi have been design and development of control system for High temp superconductivity cable project, for Adsorptech’s adsorption plants and for LOTOX process converting NOX at power plants.
