Oxygen increases smelter efficiency

Using Oxygen instead of air in smelter increases the efficiency of the furnace. Since Air only contains 21% Oxygen, using 90% Pure oxygen reduces the Furnace size by 25%. Using Oxygen results in much higher temperatures.

Many of the Smelter processes are Batch which introduces some challenges to the VSA Plant. ModCGen Oxygen plants are customized to the Smelter process, wether it is a batch or continuous process.
